Koi Pond
This painting took me from October 2019-October 2020. I was inspired by the peace the koi fish bring to me. I used colors that brought out the brilliance in the fish, while also drawing the viewers eye around the painting. Starting at the rock bed bottom, onto the next layer with the fish, then the lily pads floating on the water, with the flowers blooming around them each layer inspired the other until I felt the piece was finished.
